BCG honoured at the “Oscars of the Internet”

BCG has been named an “Official Honouree” at the 12th Annual Webby Awards for their viral “Gingerbread Haka”. This distinction recognises work exhibiting remarkable achievement, vision and ingenuity. The Webby Awards is the leading international award honouring excellence on the Internet, and has been hailed as the “Oscars of the Internet” by the New York Times.

The awards are judged by an international organisation that includes David Bowie, Harvey Weinstein, Jamie Oliver, Matt Groening, Arianna Huffington, Internet inventor Vinton Cerf and RealNetworks CEO Rob Glaser.

This year, the awards attracted nearly 10,000 entries submitted from over 60 countries, and all 50 of America’s states.

Needless to say, all of us at BCG are delighted. When the creator of the Simpsons and Mr Bowie say they really like what you are doing it is definitely something to get excited about.
